Julia-roberts

Julia Fiona Roberts is the daughter of Betty Lou Bredemus, and Walter Grady Roberts. She was born on October 28th, 1967 at Atlanta. Her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts, a farmer who was also the first Roberts who settled in Atlanta. The Robertses' father was interested in the theatre at a young stage. He acted on at the Emory University campus in 1952 and also in other productions throughout Atlanta. In 1953, he joined the Air Force and while stationed in Biloxi in Mississippi, he appeared in productions with Betty Lou Bredemus. They got married in 1955. Their son, Eric Anthony, was born in the year 1956. The couple divorced in 1957. the military and Walter was enrolled at Tulane University in New Orleans Louisiana. Walter was employed by Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. In 1960, the family moved into Decatur Georgia. Walter along with Betty Lou started production in 1964 for the local kids' Saturday morning television program Bum Bum and His Buddies that they funded by themselves. In 1964 Walter and Betty Lou established The Actors and Writers Workshop. The organization lasted for a total of about six years. They had two more daughters Lelisa (called Lisa) Billingsley in the year 1965, and Julia (called Julie) in 1967.
