Amy Lou Adams Amy Lou Adams (born on August 20th 1974 in Aviano Italy). American actress. Known for playing naive adorable characters. Adams was the daughter of a U.S. Army officer in Italy and then grew up to be a resident of Castle Rock Colorado. The mid-1990s saw her begin doing professional dance and performance at the Boulder Dinner Theatre in Colorado and Country Dinner Playhouse. In the following year, in Minnesota in a small local theatre she was selected to play a role in the mock documentary about beauty pageants called Drop Dead Gorgeous. Then, in Los Angeles, she pursued an acting career after her film debut, in where she played an uneasy but fun contestant. The couple also had children Kelly Curtis, Jamie Lee Curtis. The actress Norma Shearer Leigh secured a deal with MGM and started her career in film during the latter half of 1940s. Her role as Norma was featured in several popular films over time, like Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho from 1960 and Living It Up, a Martin and Lewis film released in 1954.
