Laura Linney has been hailed as one of America's most acclaimed actors. Linney is renowned for her strong character that are as at risk. Born to a famous playwright's father, and was raised by a single mom, who earned her living by working as a nurse. She began to take an interest in theater while spending summers with her father then pursuing acting studies, first at Brown University and then at Juilliard School. Her career began on Broadway shortly after her graduation, she made her debut in films within two years, and then on television within a year. Her appearances have been on a variety of television, film and stage programs since. Over the course of her career, she won numerous awards including two Golden Globe Awards. Despite her numerous awards, she still loves the theatre, and has appeared on stage and screen.
